Children's Services 

Bluewater Respite Inc. has various supports for children and youth who have a developmental disability including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and some mental health challenges.  These supports provide children with a fun opportunity to build new skills, socialize and provide families with the support they need.

Community Respite

Skilled staff(s) are organized by our coordinators to  provide support for children and youth outside of the family home while engaging in community activities.  These supports are tailored to the interests, abilities and needs of the child or youth.

Skilled staff(s) are organized by our coordinators to provide support in the family home to children and youth.  These supports are tailored to the needs of the family and can include support around the clock to best meet the needs of the child or youth and their family.

Centre Based Respite

Bluewater Respite Inc. offers out of home respite at our locations across the West Region.  These supports offer families to have a true break while the child or youth is supported in a home environment that provides opportunities for skill building and socializing while participating in fun and meaningful activities.

Ontario Autism Program

Bluewater Respite Inc. works in conjunction with the Ontario Autism Program to provide support for children with ASD.  These supports includeIn Home Respite, Community Respite, Centre Based Respite and Social Work services.
